How was The EdgeWedge™ born?
The EdgeWedge idea was created when I brought my first child home from the hospital where everything was ready in the nursery…I thought. Immediately we had a problem on the changing table that was set up on my son’s dresser. Critical items were being tossed or slipped off the back and fell behind the heavy dresser. I quickly started googling for a solution since there is something for everything baby – I must have missed something, but there was nothing. It was then that I decided it was time to invent The EdgeWedge.
Does your company donate to any organizations?
Yes. I have chosen an organization that is close to my heart where a portion of each purchase will be donated–The Alzheimer’s Association. My mom is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s and currently in an assisted living facility being very well cared for. I am grateful to be able to contribute and support the work of the Alzheimer’s Association.

How can I pay for my order?
You can use any major credit card or PayPal. To ensure that you don’t experience any delays to your order, please make sure all your details are entered correctly.
Will I receive tracking information?
You will receive an email with your order confirmation and then another tracking number when your order has been processed and shipped. The email will contain order details, shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to track your order. If you do not receive the email with your tracking number, please email hi@theedgewedge.com. Last, you will receive a final email once your package has been delivered.
My order never arrived, what do I do?

Product Information
Can The EdgeWedge be used for purposes other than in a nursery?
You bet! The EdgeWedge can be used in any place where you have a gap between the wall and the piece of furniture. For example, you can use it to wedge between the wall and a mattress, dresser, vanity, end tables, etc. Make sure you create an account so you will receive emails with new product offerings such as new colors and a length great for beds!
I have my changing table anchored to the wall. Does The EdgeWedge fit around the anchors?
The EdgeWedge is designed to slide down between the changing table and wall about 2 inches. As long as the anchors are two inches or lower from the top of the changing table, there should be no issues.
Why does the cover and foam come wrapped separately?
Since The EdgeWedge is to be used primarily in a nursery, we anticipated that most moms would want to wash the cover before installing.
Is The EdgeWedge made in the USA?
The foam is manufactured in the US. The companies that sew the covers, cut the foam and ship the materials are all US companies. We wanted to do our part to help keep Americans working and also benefit from the quality of American craftsmanship. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate any fabric weavers in the U.S. So, to our knowledge, all of this type of fabric is imported.
Product Materials
What is the foam made of?
The foam is made from 100% flexible polyurethane foam, made without the use of fire retardants.
Is the foam safe?
The foam is safe for its intended use. It is flammable. It’s not edible. But it’s great cushioning material.
Is the foam hypo-allergenic?
In today’s use of the non-medical term “hypo-allergic,” yes it is. There is no official definition, legal or medical, of the term “hypoallergenic.” Polyurethane foam does not aggravate any common allergies. Every year, hundreds of millions of pounds of flexible polyurethane foam are produced in the US for applications that involve close contact with people. In more than thirty years of increasing use, flexible polyurethane foam has not been associated with allergic responses of consumers.
How long will it hold its shape?
Under normal use, it should hold its shape for many years. As with almost all resilient materials, with use, it will soften as much as 15%.
How long will it last before breaking down?
Under normal conditions, if kept in a cover to protect from abrasion, it should not break down.
Can the foam be washed?
The foam should not be washed. The machine washable fabric cover should protect the foam from most stains and prevent the need for washing.
How can I clean it (including stain removal)?
If kept covered, the foam pillow should not be exposed to dirt and stains. A brief spray with Lysol or similar product may be used if needed. Test spray a small area and allow to dry to make sure that the foam is not harmed (some alcohols can damage foam).
What type of fabric is the cover?
All our covers are made of extra soft machine-washable 100% polyester.
Is the cover machine washable?
Yes.
Is the fabric hypoallergenic and flame retardant?
The fabric is not hypoallergenic or flame retardant. As we researched our options, we learned that, in order to make the fabric hypoallergenic and/or flame retardant, a solution is added to the fabric and the benefit of the solution only lasts a certain number of washings. We chose to keep our fabric free of solutions.
Are there any fabric options for a more upholstered look?
Initially we are offering basic colors. We expect to add other fabric options in the future. If you have a suggestion for new colors, lengths, functionality, please send us an email at hi@theedgewedge.com
Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is FREE on U.S. and Canada purchases. Shipping costs internationally are based on weight. You will be notified of the shipping costs during checkout.
When will my order ship?
Orders are processed and filled within 1-2 business days. Delivery for standard shipping is 3-7 business days once the order is filled for continental U.S. locations and up to 15 business days for Hawaii and Alaska.

Do you ship to locations outside of the U.S.?
Yes we do! Shipping costs internationally are based on weight. You will be notified of the shipping costs during checkout. Please note that we are not responsible for orders that are held up at customs, damaged by customs or refused entrance by customs.
